Multifaceted Friends

I’ve met many wonderful people through my dog, and especially through rescue. It never ceases to amaze how multitalented all my doggie friends are. Take Jaime Rowe, for example. Jaime and I met through Happy Tails Books, my publishing company that raises money and awareness for rescues. Jaime kindly volunteered to donate some photos for me to use.

She’s in the Denver area, so naturally, when I was looking for a photographer to shoot the Don’t Kill Bill show, I thought of her. Well, not only did she offer to volunteer her time to shoot the show, but she told me she would donate her books to the first 50 people who arrive at the show.

“Books?” I said. I had no idea that she was also an author. Turns out she put together a book called Survivors – Your Best Friend’s Journey With Cancer for the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation and Colorado State University’s Animal Cancer Center. Amazing!

Bottom line: Multifaceted, generous friends rock! You can get yourself a copy of Jaime’s book at JaimeRowePhotography.com or at the Don’t Kill Bill show by being one of the first 50 to arrive.
